An Opinion on Healthy Arguing:

I have had a few boyfriends in this lifetime of mine, however none seem to be as grand as the current relationship I carry. Now, I will not say our companionship is perfect. No, no, no… That doesn’t exist. But, I will say we have an extremely healthy relationship.

One way we remain healthy, are our “rules” of a healthy argument. The rules were never actually established, it was just something we came to do.

1) No Yelling: How angry are you? If you can’t speak in an intelligent and calm way, step away regain yourself and return.

2) No Cursing: Now, I have the mouth of a fucking sailor… But, we never curse at each other in anger, actually, we never curse at each other in general. Believe me, it helps.

3) No Dwelling: Once an argument is over, LEAVE IT THERE! JESUS CHRIST! If you keep bringing up the same damn issue, you need to evaluate yourself before bringing anything to your significant other.

These are just a few tips for anyone taking a gander. Basically, its always best to remember that a relationship is not a “War Within”, but a “War of We”. Its about “we’ll carry we”, two against this unforgivable world. Your significant other is that for a reason.

Never go to bed angry.

Personal Freedom

Freedom, to me, is knowing that this is all I got.  There is nothing for me at the end of the rainbow.  This one life is all I have, roughly eighty years of existence.  What a horrifying, yet incredible thought.  It kills me to see so many people living these caged, fearful, straight as an arrow lives.

One life.

One time for blood to rush through your veins, for your heart to beat, for your emotions to run rampant.

I’m sure I’ll never do anything considered outstanding, I’m sure my face will never be known by millions, or these tiny words I write.  But, to the best of my ability I want to live the hell out of my life.  I want to make sudden decisions.  I want to be right and wrong.  I want to get dirty.  I want to dance.  I want to get intoxicated.  I want to go places and see things.  I want to make and FEEL love.  I want to feel pain, pleasure and everything in between.  I want to share my heart with others.

I want to give birth to children with wide-open eyes.

I want to die a happy woman knowing that in this life I did nothing less than try.

I can tell you when I’m on my death bed, I won’t be thinking of the promotions, the money I made or the bills I paid… I’ll be thinking of laying in bed next to him, the life we shared, the friends we made and the fun times we had.
